Solid Grade Laminate (12mm SGL):
SGL is our most robust material, being impervious to water and able to be used in very high-traffic areas.
High-Pressure Laminate (20mm HPL):
Moisture-resistant chipboard or MDF faced in high-pressure laminate. The boards can withstand medium to high use in dry areas. The laminate is heat, scratch and impact-resistant.
Melamine-Faced Chipboard (MFC):
Manufactured from 18mm thick chipboard faced in melamine, this material is best suited to low-use environments with a low risk of vandalism.
Coming in a variety of thicknesses, Birch Ply is made up of lots of layers of thin veneers, glued together at right angles and characterised by strength and stiffness, making it a great choice for demanding environments. Often being used to make cabinets, shelves and wardrobes.
Coming in several ranges, such as Toplab Base®, which is widely used for laboratory bench surfacing, as well as laboratory furniture components where impact resistance is of great importance. The TopLab Plus® range has excellent resistance to most aggressive chemicals and cleaning agents so is used in cleanrooms, laboratories, and other high-demanding environments.
