Brand New Morph!

We manufacture worktops to specification, so when award winning Bristol Company Aardman Animations contacted us with specific requirements, they had come to the right place.

Kitty Clay (Art Director) contacted us enquiring about worktops for the props department, for their new series ‘Brand new Morph’.

We were thrilled that a world class animation studio like Aardman had chosen to use a fellow Bristol company and we were very happy to help.

After an initial telephone conversation, Kitty visited us at our Petherton Road, Bristol workshop, to look at samples and narrow down the selection.

We organised for Polyrey to send larger samples of the laminate to Aardman, where they could view them in their studio in the light and conditions they would use for filming.

Their final selection was F013 Fruitier Naturel, they wanted three worktops made and so we procured the laminate, produced and supplied the worktops – all within their two week deadline. We have since had an email, thanking us for the ‘great worktops’ and saying they are ‘really well made’.

Episode 2 is titled ‘Portable Hole’, where you can see Morph and Chas having fun with a portable hole in the Bristol Panel Formers worktop. This is a first for us; we don’t normally recommend or supply holes for our worktops as standard! See how Morph does it.
